INTRODUCING BDAC

Brynmill & District AC run 2 waters in the Swansea Enterprise Park on behalf of the City & County of Swansea Local Authority. We are responsible for providing a coarse angling leisure facility for the city, that caters both for the Pleasure, Specimen and Match angler alike. We unfortunately have to charge you to use our waters. You can either :-
BUY
A PERMIT

These are available from either Mainwarings Tackle of Sketty, Swansea (tel 01792/202245) or by applying to the Parks & Lettings Dept, Rm 168, The Guildhall, Swansea. You must provide a passport-sized photo of yourself otherwise I'm afraid a permit wont be issued to you.

BUY
DAY/WEEKLY TICKETS

These can be purchased from our bailiff team who roam both the Fendrod Lake and Half Round Ponds armed with ticket books, with the aim of relieving you of your cash. All bailiffs carry official club I.D. cards.
Non-members planning to fish overnight must purchase 2 day tickets.

The larger of the waters is the Fendrod Lake at approx 13 acres and has approx 75 pegs some of which are designed for the disabled and are linked to the main tarmac path that surrounds the lake.
The Half Round Ponds are approx 1.5 acres and were originally cooling ponds for the old Mannesmann Steel works, the site of which is now occupied by the Matrix Park Office blocks. They are also known as the Management Ponds from their past association with the steel works. Now beautifully landscaped, you'd never guess their industrial past only finished some 25 yrs ago. The layout of the ponds is perfect for our junior coaching programme that stretches for 12 weeks through the summer months.

In addition, the Club also have the Local Authority's permission to fish other waters namely The Pluck Lake, Singleton Boating Lake, Swiss Cottage Pond(Singleton Park) and Clyne Pond.

REMEMBER
